At the heart of the Universal Audio Apollo x16D Complete you'll find elite-class Apollo X 24-bit/192 kHz audio conversion, ensuring impeccable sound quality with every recording or mix. The ability to recall plug-in settings via MIDI makes it easy to quickly change sounds, even during a live performance. With support for expansion via Thunderbolt Apollo interfaces and a network of up to four x16D units, you can set up an extensive 64-channel Dante system with network redundancy. This makes the Apollo x16D not only powerful for current needs but also scalable for future expansions in your studio setup.

Complete Plug-in Bundle

Included with this sound card is the UAD Complete plug-in bundle, featuring over 200 plug-ins from Universal Audio. These UAD plug-ins are not only known as the best, most faithful effects and instruments, but can also be offloaded to DSP. This means that these plug-ins do not run on your computer's CPU, but run on the processing power of your audio interface. This technology also ensures that you can record with compressors, EQs, and even auto-tune without audible latency. Included plug-ins are, among others, Avalon and Manley channel strips, Empirical Labs Distressor, Fairchild and Teletronix compressors, Pulteq and Helios EQs, Sonnox Oxford Inflator, and Studer A800 Multichannel Tape Recorder. In addition, virtual instruments such as Moog Minimoog and PolyMAX Polyphonic Synth are included, as well as the expressive Ravel Grand Piano.
