With its 18 x 20 audio interface with Dante I/O, this unit offers seamless integration with your digital mixing console, delivering high-quality 24-bit/192 kHz audio conversion. The HEXA core processing allows you to use UAD plug-ins in real-time with virtually no latency, giving you the flexibility to mix and record live performances with more groundbreaking UAD plug-ins. Additionally, the Apollo x16D supports ALT monitoring in all monitor modes, making it incredibly versatile for any professional setup.
One of the standout features of the Universal Audio Apollo x16D Analog Classics is its ability to expand your studio via Dante, the most scalable and low-latency audio network available. You can link up to four x16D units to create a 64-channel system with network redundancy, perfect for multi-room recording setups. This audio interface also supports immersive audio monitoring for, for example: Dolby Atmos, Auro-3D, and Sony 360 Reality Audio, allowing you to mix live sets or studio recordings into 16-channel surround sound. With the onboard HEXA core processing, you can effortlessly manage complex plug-in chains. Analog Classics Plug-in Bundle
Included with this sound card is the Analog Classics plug-in bundle, featuring over 30 plug-ins from Universal Audio. These UAD plug-ins are not only known as the best, most faithful effects and instruments, but can also be offloaded to DSP. This means that these plug-ins do not run on your computer's CPU, but run on the processing power of your audio interface. This technology also ensures that you can record with, for example, compressors and EQs, without audible latency.
