The Pioneer XDJ-R1 is a 2-channel professional all-in-one DJ controller. This unit can play from CD's and USB's as well as from rekordbox. Pioneer has designed this controller for the professionals that are looking for a solution to play with CD's as well as USB's in a compact form. Do you use Pioneer's CDJ-2000 NEXUS in the club? This R1 will be an excellent set for practice at home. Everything feels the same and looks the same - from the layout to the knobs. Also both devices work with rekordbox in an amazing way.
Pioneer has used certain features of its professional line of DJ equipment when designing this XDJ-R1. Pioneer made use of the touch sensitive aluminium jog wheels with built-in blue leds and Pioneer BEAT FX and COLOR FX that are also featured on Pioneer's DJM line.
The hot cue buttons can be switched to sample launchers. These hot cues - or samples can be prepared in remotebox and can be used to make your mix even more unique.

- There are three hot cues per deck on the XDJ

- There are four color FX in the mixer section including NOISE, PITCH, FILTER and CRUSH. This feature can only be found back on Pioneer's DJM line
- External devices can be connected via AUX
- There is a MIC channel available with customizable EQ
- The master level and booth level and are easily adaptable

- CDs can be red by making use of the two slot-in CD reader.
