The successor to the well-known Pioneer XDJ-XZ is called the XDJ-AZ; AlphaTheta XDJ-AZ to be precise, and it takes DJing to a new level. Can you play the XDJ-AZ with 4 decks via USB?
Absolutely! You can use all 4 decks standalone, without a laptop.
What is the difference between the XDJ-AZ and the XDJ-XZ?
The XDJ-AZ features a larger, more modern 10.1-inch touchscreen with Touch Preview and Playlist Bank, making track selection faster and easier. Unlike the XDJ-XZ, the AZ lets you play four decks from a single USB device and connect via Wi-Fi for CloudDirectPlay and Beatport Streaming. It also includes a SonicLink transmitter for wireless connectivity with the HDJ-F10. Finally, you can easily record your set and control all mixer settings with a single button.
What software can I use the XDJ-AZ with?
You can, of course, use the XDJ-AZ standalone without software. If you prefer to use a laptop, you can use the AZ with both Rekordbox and Serato DJ Pro.
Is AlphaTheta the same as Pioneer DJ?
Although the name AlphaTheta has been familiar to us as Pioneer DJ dealers for a long time (it has long been the name of the parent company that owns the Pioneer DJ brand), it's a new name for end users. But rest assured: nothing else will change. From now on, you'll see the AlphaTheta name on new products. Products released under the Pioneer DJ name will remain as such.
What is the delivery time for the XDJ-AZ?
If the price says "Ordered before 5 PM on weekdays, delivered tomorrow*", we have the product in stock and will ship it the same day as stated (for orders placed before 5 PM), or you can pick it up sooner at our store in Haarlem. If a delivery time of x days is stated below the price, this is an estimate based on the information we have at the time. If it takes longer or shorter, we'll contact you immediately!

Wow wat een apparaat! Ik kom nog van de tijd waar je niet veel meer kon dan op play drukken en beatmatchen maar de XDJ AZ kan echt alles.
Tonecontrol had dit product als een van de weinige op voorraad en ook nog eens binnen 24 uur geleverd!
Wij gebruiken deze setup voor onze DJ lessen en het doet echt niet onder aan een volledige CDJ 3000 setup.
