DDJ-GRV6: Groove Circuit

With Groove Circuit, you can create the most energetic remixes with the press of a button. Even while a track is playing, you can replace the drum parts with other drum loops, allowing you to effortlessly switch genres and make unique remixes. By adding effects to the drums, you can quickly create drum fills, build-ups, and breakdowns. You are free to experiment with the drums and play new and creative remixes live.

• The Groove Circuit feature is only available on Rekordbox for Mac/Windows.
• In Rekordbox for iOS/Android, this feature is linked to the sampler and other features.
• In Serato DJ Pro, Groove Circuit is tied to Stems FX (read more for details).

Features of Groove Circuit:

• Drum Swap
  With the press of a button, you can replace the drum parts of the current track with other drum loops, even during playback. Right after unpacking, you can download a free pack of 40 loops in various genres and start using them immediately.

• Drum Roll/Trans
  Easily create drum rolls, enhance transitions with drum fills, and build tension in your set by applying the Roll or Trans effect to the drums.

• Drum Release
  Add Release FX to the drum parts to easily create breakdowns.

• Capture
  Isolate the drums from the track on the deck and save them, so you can use them later in another track.

Drum Swap: Replaces the percussive ‘stem’ of a track with one or more looped samples that are always synced. As soon as you start one of the loops, the percussive stem of the track is suppressed, and the loop takes over. There are 40 loops available, but you can also load your own loops to fully customize your performance.

Drum Roll/Trans: This function works on a Drum Swap track when it's active, and otherwise works like the X-Pad on the RMX-1000 on the audio of the running track. You use these buttons with the Trans effect when holding the Shift button.

Drum Release: Just like on an RMX-1000, operating the handle ends an ongoing Drum Swap.
