The two "new" old drum kits were recorded at the legendary Ingrid Studios in Stockholm using various recording techniques that result in extreme warmth and punch. The Vintage Dead kit is the driest of all the Dead kits and is ideal for beats and breaks, psychedelic indie pop in the style of Tame Impala, Khruangbin, and Glass Beams, as well as for hard rock reminiscent of Queens of the Stone Age and Death from Above 1979. Vintage Dry captures the authentic '70s vibe of a 1968 Ludwig Silver Sparkle and delivers the sounds made popular by Daft Punk, Fleetwood Mac, Neil Young, Anderson .Paak, and Justice.
