The Universal Audio SD-1 is a dynamic cardioid studio microphone suitable for close-miked vocals, instruments, podcasts, and live use. Thanks to the dynamic design and the directional polar pattern, background noise is a thing of the past. The built-in low-cut and articulation boost options provide a quick way to make your sound radio-ready. The highpass cuts off the lowest frequencies to make your recordings sparkling clean, while the boost offers a pleasant presence.
Unique to the SD-1 are the Apollo Channel Strip Presets that Universal Audio includes for use with an Apollo interface (not included). These hand-picked EQ and compression presets provide a full and warm sound, requiring little or no further processing to bring your recordings to life. Finally, the Universal Audio SD-1 has a built-in shock mount and wind filter.
