Strymon El Capistan V2 now with full MIDI control, including MIDI clock synchronization and access to 300 presets via MIDI. Includes a new state-of-the-art 520MHz ARM processor for massive DSP space for seamless processing and improved audio quality and a brand new Strymon Class A JFET preamp, making the pedal sound better than its predecessor from the get-go.
Now supplied as standard with a USB-C for MIDI-over-USB and firmware updates, enabling bi-directional MIDI communication with a single cable using Strymon's Conduit interface.
With no less than 6 control knobs, the Strymon El Capistan V2 gives you plenty of control over tonal shaping. Featuring the same fixed, multi and single modes of the original Strymon over and over, along with a 3 position mode switch to customize the action of the pedal depending on which mode is selected.
A dedicated knob on the Strymon El Capistan V2 now makes it possible to control the completely independent Spring Reverb Level, which is more powerful than it first appears. The basic Spring Reverb was an afterthought in the original El Cap (hidden in the secondary functions), but is now an important part of the entire pedal's control, creating a wide variety of sounds previously unavailable.
