Sontronics Sigma 2, together with his brothers Delta 2 and Apollo 2, belong to the pinnacle of ribbon microphones and represents the best of British technology.
The original Sigma was one of the first phantom -driven ribbon microphones in the world. With high sensitivity, little noise, and plug-and-play compatibility with every audio interface, preamp or mixer, the Sigma V2 (released in 2018) has become a must-have in top studios around the world.
As you can expect from a ribbon microphone, Sigma 2 delivers an intimate, natural display and is beautifully suitable for vocals, solo blowers and string instruments, as well as (if used carefully) guitar amplifiers and percussion.
