De Babyface is RME’s eerste compacte audio interface. Klein van formaat, groot in prestatie. Hij voorziet u van 22 kanalen 192kHz audio, is voorzien van een instrument ingang en een interne microfoon voorsterker met 48 Volt fantoom voeding.
Om hem zo compact mogelijk te houden heeft hij een breakout kabel met twee gebalanceerde XLR audio ingangen, twee gebalanceerde audio uitgangen en een MIDI I/O. Op de audio interface zelf heeft u een Hi-Z instrument ingang, een hoofdtelefoon stereo uitgang en een optische ADAT of SPDIF in- en uitgang.
Zoals al zijn grotere broers krijgt u bij de Babyface ook het TotalMix software pakket. Hiermee heeft u een volledige virtuele digitale DSP mixer, drie bands equalizer, effecten en uitgebreide routing mogelijkheden tot uw beschikking. Hij heeft een snelle USB 2.0 aansluiting en is geschikt voor PC en Mac computers.
Door zijn compacte afmeting is deze Babyface geschikt voor studio, oefenruimte en op het podium voor bands, DJ’s en live acts die een compacte USB geluidskaart zoeken met een hoge kwaliteit.
