Product Information Oberheim TEO-5 Keyboard
Oberheim TEO-5 Keyboard captures the spirit of the OB-X, Four Voice, and TVS in a modern synthesizer with real analog VCOs; five voices deliver pure triangle, sawtooth, and pulse waves with updated oscillators and analog through-zero FM for new textures. The legendary SEM state-variable filter allows you to morph from 2-pole Low-Pass to High-Pass via a phaser-like Notch, and offers a switchable Band-Pass mode with that characteristic resonance that has defined hits for decades. TEO-5 provides classic OB-8 envelopes, poly- and mono-LFOs with tempo sync, and a flexible modulation matrix design with 19 routes, 19 sources, and 64 destinations including audio-rate routes for deep sound experiments.
Oberheim TEO-5 Keyboard adds dual digital effects such as chorus, delay, and reverb, plus emulations of Tom's Phase Shifter and Ring Modulator for swirling and metallic resonances; the 64-step polyphonic sequencer and multimode arpeggiator generate endless melodic and rhythmic ideas. Compact and affordable, with a premium Fatar keybed for responsive playing, this synth delivers a rich blend of vintage warmth and modern modulation power, and there is a TEO-5 SoundEditor (standalone and plugin from SoundTower) to conveniently create, edit, organize, and save programs for even more efficient sound design on your synthesizers.
