Connect up to three stereo sources simultaneously. The two included phono preamps allow the connection of two turntables so you can digitize your vinyl collection in highest quality or record other external audio sources.
Even with two stereo channels routed to your external DJ mixer, the convenient front stereo input and output is perfectly tailored for DJs who wish to use TRAKTOR effects as send and return FX units on their mixer. TRAKTOR AUDIO 6 is the successor of AUDIO 4 DJ and now comes with enhanced connectivity, better sound quality, better usability and even lower latency:
- 2 more inputs and outputs – features a pair of stereo inputs and outputs on the front of the unit, ideal for setting up Send & Return effects through your DJ mixer or routing TRAKTOR’s Sample Decks or Loop Recorder. The ins and outs have been consolidated for maximum ease-of-use.
- New processor and new audio drivers – better audio performance with low-latency drivers ensures a rock-solid foundation to your DJ sets.

The convenient status LEDs on the upper panel give instant visual feedback on input and output activity, so you know if your setup is hooked up and working correctly. Now it’s also possible to run the TRAKTOR AUDIO 6 via its power supply only, as a “Direct Thru” unit. This means the soundcard is capable of passing through a signal from other equipment (turntables / CD players) without being connected to your computer – so switching between DJs or different setups is finally made simple - perfect for permanent club installations.
With 6 analog inputs and outputs respectively, the AUDIO 6 offers two additional channels over the previous AUDIO 4 model. Even when all decks of the TRAKTOR software are routed to individual channels for external mixing, a further stereo I/O remains available – for potential use with the Loop Recorder and Sample Decks, as a dedicated effect send/return, to record an externally mixed set back into TRAKTOR, or for other creative routing purposes.
With its 24bit/96Khz Cirrus Logic converters and powerful +12 dBu output volume, the AUDIO 6 maintains DJ-specific audio characteristics, with signal quality further enhanced through improved electrical engineering. The improved high-visibility LED indicators also allow for clearer and more intuitive monitoring of the signal chain even in low-light club environments.
A further advantage of the AUDIO 6 is the new “Direct Thru” bypass function, which can be toggled individually per channel remotely from the computer. In a typical club setup, an engaged “Direct Thru” passes the signal of the turntable or CD deck directly to the hardware mixer, even with no computer attached.
