The Minilogue is back!

The analog, four-voice polyphonic synth sound that made the original Minilogue a hit has now been further developed and is making its comeback in the form of the Minilogue xd. In addition to the original circuitry, the Minilogue xd features brand-new functions such as: waveshaping for shaping overtones, cross modulation, a sharp second-order filter, and a drive switch to thicken the sound at the touch of a button. Each function is precisely tuned to the expectations of the electronic musician. The sounds range from warm analog pads to sharp leads and fat basses. This flexibility makes the Minilogue xd suitable for many situations. 

Hybrid Sound Design

In addition to two analog oscillators, the Minilogue xd offers a multi-engine accessible via a third oscillator. The multi-engine includes options for three additional sound source types: noise, VPM, and a user slot. With these three additional sound sources, you can benefit from different sound characteristics than the two analog oscillators, thereby endlessly expanding the potential for hybrid sound design.

Effects 

The high-quality digital effects of the Minilogue XD are made possible by a 32-bit floating-point DSP. The three sound effects: reverb, delay, and modulation can be used simultaneously as the icing on the cake for in-depth sound design. With the Software Development Kit, it is possible to create and personalize your own presets for both 16 user oscillator slots and 16 user effect slots. Your creations can be loaded into the Minilogue XD using the accompanying librarian software. The new effects engine also includes a stereo output to get the most out of your spatial effects. There is also a pedal input for maximum expression and two CV inputs for compatibility with other synths.

Extensive sequencing 

With the 16-step built-in sequencer, it is possible to program your sequence step-by-step as well as play it live. With the 16 step keys, it is possible to change pitch steps or mute them super fast with maximum hands-on control. With the motion sequence, it is possible to automate the movements of four different knobs. Not only can you record gradual movements, but you can also apply changes step by step. In this way, you can design a new sound for each individual step.
