Howler Recorder + Streamer MK2 simultaneously records to the included microSD and streams live in real time, allowing you to start recording during a stream or start a stream while already recording, eliminating the need to choose between recording or going live; as Handheld Recorders, this model eliminates interference during live streams and ensures accurate timestamps, instantly dating and timing files correctly. WAV recordings are seamless and continuous without gaps between files, and the redesigned power button requires a short press-hold to power on/off and prevents shut down during recording by showing a flashing warning.

Howler Recorder + Streamer MK2 is more compact, starts up almost instantly, and offers faster file transfer with updated LED indicators that provide a clearer battery status overview, while future firmware updates are easily done via USB-C by visiting the Howler update page; the more powerful hardware does result in a shorter battery life than the MK1, but with 24 hours of battery life, it's still more than sufficient for an extensive DJ set.
