The Eventide Micropitch Plugin is a pitch shifter with fine resolution for subtle tone thickening plus delays for dramatic slap-back effects. Micropitch is the latest incarnation of an iconic effect that was created by Eventide in the 70s. With each generation, Eventide has added, refined, improved and build its legendary predecessors.
Micropitch can take you beyond the everyday stereo spreading effects of simple Micropitch plug-ins. It goes beyond and outside by enabling you to mix decayed and delayed versions of your source, creating depth and dimensions that were previously not possible. With its extensive controls you can reach deep pitch dive flights, frightening echoes and unspoilt chorus effects.
and, like all plug-ins from the H9 series, micropitch is designed to 'play'. With the ribbon you can wipe the effect between two completely different settings. Change your sweetening shift into a Delay-Throw and back, or change your delays from dark to clear for transition effects. Use the ribbon to add a little 'life' while mixing. For desktop users, connect a MIDI keyboard and get control over the ribbon via the mod-wheel for tactile control of this intuitive version macro.
