Dynaudio 18S

If you are looking for more depth in the low frequencies, the Dynaudio 18S is the perfect solution. The 18S is an active subwoofer with not 1, but with 2 woofers! Several DSP techniques are applied, so there is a performance map almost every Dynaudio studio monitor (think of the popular BM series or the LYD series), making 2-way systems being transformed into 3-way systems. The punch is supplied by 2 brand new MSP + Hybrid Drive units and a 500W amplifier for absolute control and power. Dynaudio has designed a brand new driver for the 18S. It is made of aluminum in Magnesium Silicate Polymer material. Why the sandwich? Because a subwoofer requires a different balance between stiffness, lightness and attenuation than standard drivers for drivers.
