Dreadbox Artemis

With the Dreadbox Artemis, the Greek boutique manufacturer sets a new milestone in its ten-year history. The analog, six-voice sound generator offers two versatile VCOs (Voltage Controlled Oscillators) per voice with infinitely adjustable waveforms, a sync function, frequency modulation (FM) and pulse width modulation (PWM). In addition, a suboscillator or noise can be added to the VCOs. The warm-sounding low-pass filter is switchable between 12 dB and 24 dB and can be modulated directly by key tracking, an envelope, an oscillator or noise.

The effects section again uses SINEVIBES' high-quality algorithms. With four stereo effect blocks for distortion/bitcrush, modulation effects, delay and reverb, you can both distort and refine the sound. All effects can be used simultaneously.

A mod matrix makes it easy to connect external MIDI controllers. You can flexibly assign controller data such as modwheel, polyphonic aftertouch, velocity and more to different parameters. In addition, the synth supports the latest MIDI Polyphonic Expression (MPE) standard. In terms of connections, the Artemis is equipped with a USB-B port, MIDI I/O (5-pin DIN), a stereo output and a headphone jack (all 6.3 mm TRS).
