Product Information Dizengoff Audio DA4

Dizengoff Audio succeeds again, recreating old equipment with its own fresh Chicago twist. Like the DA2, which is a tribute to the RCA BA2C from the 1950s, this Dizengoff Audio DA4 is a tribute to the Recording Engineering Development Department console from the 1960s. It's the re-engineered and extended version. The old version had three settings for the gain (+36, +40, and +46) and a finetune knob. This version has 12 steps from +20 to +60 dB gain. The finetune knob attenuates / amplifies the signal by 2-4 dB, depending on the gain mode. On the left side of the module, there are three switches: a 20 dB attenuator (pad), a polarity switch to reverse the phase and a 48 V phantom voltage function. This mic preamp gives incredibly detailed sound and adds warm, pleasant coloring to the sound. This Dizengoff Audio DA4 is handmade in Chicago.
