This CAD Audio U37 is a cardioid microphone, which means that background noise is reduced. It is also a large membrane condenser microphone, making it widely applicable. Think of vocals or acoustic instruments that have a large dynamic range. There are two switches on the microphone. One to attenuate the signal by 10 dB to avoid clipping, and one to attenuate the bass frequencies. The CAD Audio U37 microphone comes with a tripod standard and 3m USB cable, suitable for both Mac and Windows.
