The Audio Technica AT2031 is the ideal microphone for string instruments in critical studio and live applications. The permanently polarized element offers an extensive frequency response with a slight increase in the high frequency range for a detailed sound. The low self-noise and high SPL capacity offer a wide dynamic range, perfectly suited for the most demanding applications. In professional recording studios it is a perfect auxiliary microphone for a drum set or to make recording in the vicinity of orchestras. For live recordings, its robust construction makes the AT2031 a perfect companion for capturing percussion, acoustic guitar, hi-hat, overheads and piano.
