Product Information Audient EVO 8
The Audient EVO 8 is a compact, bus-powered 4-in/4-out audio interface, ideal for home or mobile studios, featuring four high-quality EVO mic preamps and advanced AD/DA converters delivering up to 113 dB of dynamic range. The mic preamps provide a gain range of up to 58 dB, low noise (< –128 dBu EIN), excellent CMRR (> 85 dB), and a frequency response of ±0.5 dB between 10 Hz and 40 kHz. In addition, the interface includes a JFET instrument input with 1 MΩ impedance, stereo line outputs, and two independent headphone outputs.
The Audient EVO 8 features the ‘Smartgain’ function: an algorithm that automatically sets the optimal input levels on all four channels in under 20 seconds, preventing clipping and matching stereo pairs. The device offers intuitive one-knob operation with multifunctional controls (mute, volume, Smart Touchpoints) and individually switchable +48 V phantom power per channel. It also includes the software-based EVO Mixer with ultra-low latency monitoring, direct routing, audio loop-back for content creation, and seamless DAW integration with gain setting recall.
