The AKG P220 is a large diaphragm condenser microphone that supplies warm and clear sound, ideal for lead vocals, acoustic guitar and copper instruments. It has a switchable bass filter and damping path so that the high sound pressure levels up to 155dB SPL can handle, making it suitable for use in loud environments. Moreover, the sustainable design makes it a reliable choice for on-stage performances. The P220 is the most popular and successful microphone in the current Studio Line project and is supplied with a shock mount of the Spidertype and an aluminum carrier.
