The AKG C414 XLII is a multi-pattern condenser microphone that offers a choice of 9 different directional characteristics. Thanks to these different characteristics, the C414 XLII is one of the most versatile microphones, and suitable for a wide range of applications.
The AKG C414 XLII features an attenuation pad at -6, -12 or -18dB for close-up recordings or the recording of high-output sources (up to 158dB SPL!). In addition, there are 3 switchable bass-cut filters to prevent disturbances by wind, vibration and more. Also, there is an overload warning with an audio peak hold LED available.
