Akai Pro's ultimate controller for Ableton Live: APC-40 MKII. For five years, Akai has listened to feedback from its customers to make the design of this controller even better than its predecessor. With the new APC-40 have countless musical possibilities and ingenious workflow within reach.
The new Akai APC 40 MK2 features a 5x8 RGB matrix to launch MIDI or audio clips in the included Ableton Live Lite software. Thanks to the RGB feedback it's easy to directly see the status of the corresponding clip: loading, playing or recording. In addition, it is possible to encode the clips by means of colors for a clear visual organization. Is the range of the clips of 40 too small? No problem: you browse directly to the other clips by using the shift key in combination with the arrow keys.
