Adam D3V Black

The Adam D3V Black is a fully active desktop monitoring system designed to provide the sound quality of ADAM Audio in the most practical way. The D3V monitor speakers are available in white or black finishes, with ADAM staying true to their German industrial design heritage by incorporating the iconic golden ribbon tweeter. 

3.5" Drivers and Passive Radiators

Each D3V set is equipped with 3.5” aluminum woofers and a ferrite magnet system powered by 80 W amplifiers. The woofers are further complemented by dual-sided 3.5” passive radiators, enabling the D3V to achieve a frequency range down to 45 Hz.

Advanced Ribbon Tweeter Technology

With 25 years of experience in ribbon tweeter technology, ADAM Audio has developed a compact 1.5” D-ART (Desktop Accelerated Ribbon Tweeter). This allows D3V users to enjoy precise and fatigue-free high-frequency reproduction, characteristic of the brand's established monitor systems.

Inputs and Connectivity

The D3V features a USB-C input, enabling the monitor system to function as a digital output device when connected to a computer. This eliminates the need for an additional audio interface for playback. This plug-and-play functionality is also compatible with mobile devices, allowing for high-quality audio without the compression or conversion typically associated with such connections. Additionally, balanced ¼” TRS jack inputs are available for traditional analog audio applications. 

User-Friendly Controls

The rear panel of the left speaker includes various user-friendly switches to address common acoustic issues. The front panel features a headphone jack and a volume knob, which also serves as a control for audio input selection, muting, and other functions.

Flexible Mounting and Accessories

The D3V comes with detachable monitor stands angled at 15° toward the user’s ears. Additionally, a standard 3/8” threaded hole is provided at the bottom of both monitors for mounting on a microphone stand.
