Universal Audio adds a new interface to the Apollo line with the Universal Audio Apollo Quad Twin MK2. This external Thunderbolt interface features no less than four SHARC DSP processors, making the Quad most comprehensive Apollo Twin MK2 sound card.
The strength of the Apollo Quad Twin MK2 is located in the four SHARC processors. These processors can be used to apply Universal Audio plugins pre- or post recording and for distributing the load of these plug-ins on the four processors. Apollo Quad Twin MK2 comes with Analog Classics Realtime UAD plug-in bundle with great modeled vintage analog console plug-ins.
Apollo Twin is greatly improved with the introduction of the Twin MK2. The entire Apollo Twin MK2 interfaces has improved A / D and D / A converters and a new headphone amplifier as well as a new-talkback function.
