Rupert Neve RNDI transformer is an active interface, used to balance an instrument signal, to convert the impedance, to enhance for a microphone signal, and thereby to provide a characteristic sound. The RNDI has a unique response with powerful sound to give full harmonic depth of basses, guitars, acoustic instruments, line signals and voices.
