The Roland SH-01A blue is a blue version of the boutique SH-01A synthesizer, produced in limited edition.
Roland's SH-101 has left its stamp on contemporary music production and is still very popular. The original device is sold at high prices and has become quite rare nowadays. Roland presents the modern answer to the classic SH-101: the boutique . This digital analog synth has the same characteristic sound as its analog predecessor, but with some additions including 4-voice polyphonic mode.
The synthesizer is characterized by Roland's ACB technique, which accurately reproduces an analogue circuit. In fact, the device is not analog (which keeps the price low), but it sounds like an analogue SH-101!
