Product Information Reloop RP-2000 MK2
This Reloop RP-2000 MK2 has many advantages over its predecessor. It is firmer, more robust and the metal buttons have a better feel. Thanks to the quartz-driven direct drive (as opposed to belt-drive), it delivers quite some power and constant speed so you'll experience minimal wow and flutter. You will be able to increase or decrease the speed by 8% for very fine adjustments. Thanks to the universal SME connection, you can connect most elements. However, you do not have to buy this separately, because an Ortofon OM Black pick-up is included. The speed is manually set, as on most players, to 33 1/3 RPM or 45 RPM. The tonearm is S-shaped, statically balanced and has a hydraulic lift function. It also has a needle light which is extendable and shock-absorbing feet. In short: the Reloop RP-2000 MK2 a good entry-level turntable which you can certainly rely on!
