Product Information Motu 8M USB en Thunderbolt Interface
The Motu 8M provides eight mic inputs with individual preamps. The eight mic / guitar inputs are equipped with reliable, transparent preamps and +48 V phantom power and 20dB pad. Preamp gain can be adjusted directly on the front panel, or from the web app control software.
All Mic / guitar inputs feature V-Limit, a hardware limiter that protects against digital clipping. You can have the best of both worlds: analog preamp gain with digital precision and control. You can also use the preamp settings - gain, pad and +48 V phantom power (control via Mac, iPad, iPhone, or other wireless device) from the web app. Combo-style jacks allow you to connect synths, keyboards or other line-level instruments as well as a guitar without amp.
The 8M uses the latest generation ESS Sabre32 Ultra converters, these are known for their great performance analog circuits. Minimal latency, Thunderbolt and USB connection and 48-channel digital mixing make this 8M what he is.
